Farm applications

Built for real agricultural environments

Representative local data supports better irrigation and operating decisions across tunnels, orchards, pivots and open fields.

Greenhouses and tunnels

Measure the vertical climate profile

One Agrisensor monitors a local tunnel section. Commercial deployments may use three to four units depending on tunnel length, crop layout and required measurement density.

Ground / root zone

Cold-air accumulation and humidity near lower leaves.

Plant canopy

Conditions experienced by active leaves.

Roof level

Heat build-up and ventilation effectiveness.

Flexible point

Outside reference, inlet, extraction or known hot/cold area.

Orchards

See moisture trends across the tree block

Multiple root-zone measurements support comparisons between soil areas, emitters and irrigation blocks instead of relying on a single reading.

  • Tree-block moisture trends
  • Emitter and irrigation checks
  • Representative sampling points
  • Expandable monitoring density

Centre pivots

Directional sampling across the field

Four Agrisensor field units use local soil-probe groups on cables up to 20 m and return data over Wi-Fi to an access point at the pump station or another powered location.

Local 20 m probe groups → multiple Agrisensor zones → Wi-Fi backhaul → combined field heatmap

Combined readings reveal dry sectors, irrigation imbalance and soil variation, and may indicate distribution problems such as blocked nozzles.

Representative root-zone monitoring

Position multiple probes across crop beds, soil variation and irrigation zones to build a more useful operating picture.

  • Compare irrigation zones
  • Observe local soil variation
  • Identify persistent dry areas
  • Add measurement density as needed
