Consulting and systems integration

Farm systems

GSD connects sensors, controls, networks, dashboards and alerts into one practical operating layer.

Whole-farm integration

Build around the operating problem

Every deployment can combine GSD hardware, selected third-party devices, existing equipment, local automation and open integration standards.

Whole farm monitoring and automation systems

Water and energy

Measure it accurately. Control it locally. Prove the result.

Water management

Water meters, flow, pressure, tanks, boreholes, valves and irrigation-zone use.

Electricity and pumps

Pump runtime, energy visibility, scheduling, alarms and abnormal behaviour.

Accountability

Timestamp readings, actions and alarms so operating outcomes can be reviewed.

LoRaWAN farm services

Wide-area, device-agnostic infrastructure

LoRaWAN is the wide-area network layer, not a simple point-to-point LoRa link.

Applications include water metering, boreholes, tanks, pressure, flow, pumps, valves, energy monitoring and remote alarms.

GSD has integration experience with selected compatible devices from Kamstrup, Bove, Axioma, Milesight and other suppliers.

Livestock and remote water

Location, telemetry and water security

One LoRaWAN operating layer can support compatible GPS collars, ear tags, trough monitoring, borehole telemetry and pump control.

  • Periodic GPS positions and activity data
  • Network-assisted location estimation, depending on device
  • Body-temperature and step data, depending on device
  • Trough levels and low-water alarms
  • Remote borehole and pump state

Open integrations

GSD Dashboard, MQTT and Home Assistant

The Agrisensor publishes readings, relay states and system information over Wi-Fi and MQTT. Home Assistant can provide local dashboards and automation routines alongside the GSD Dashboard.

Compatible Thread and Matter devices may be included in offices, cold rooms and packhouses using supported controllers, border routers and firmware configurations.

Farm connectivity

Connect more of the field

GSD farm-connectivity solutions can use an AX3000-class dual-band Wi-Fi 6 platform, an 8 dBi directional panel antenna and custom OpenWrt firmware.

An approximately 500 m line-of-sight connection is a project design target to compatible devices, not a guaranteed range.

Actual coverage depends on antenna alignment, installation height, terrain, vegetation, interference and the radio performance of the receiving device.
